Shortly after we left Judge Roy Beans place we noticed a cloud bank in the Northwest.
Sure enough we ran into a cold front. We figured we were gonna get rained on but it never happened.
We did stop and get out our warmer clothes for the ride on in to Alpine.

We were just a few miles outside of Alpine when we stopped to take this picture.
Alpine claims to be "The Land of Sunsets", and after seeing this one, I can't argue with them.
It was also quite chilly "not what Bob called it" by the time we stopped to enjoy the sunset.
That was a welcome relief from the heat we had been riding in all day.
